Why Obama is No Hitler
10:45 am, August 24th, 2010 on White House
Michael Ian Black, a funny-man, exploded at a man in his audience who compared Obama to Hitler:
How dare you compare Hitler to this president or any president? How dare you equate what he did with Obama is doing? Do you have any idea how insulting that is? Do you know anything about history? Do you have any idea what Hitler did? He killed six million of my people, which is six million more than Obama has killed. You’re a fucking idiot. You’re a fucking moron. You’re the fucking problem with this country. You and your reflexive retardation. You’re a fucking this-and-that…
His expletive filled tirade would have made any Obamaphile prouder than the day Obama was elected, nonetheless, was remiss on one issue as a commentor pointed out:
…Hitler and why Obama isn’t like him: not a war criminal, not a maniac, not a murderer. And … before Hitler did all these things, he made sure everyone had jobs. So you see, Obama is NOTHING like Hitler.
Obama might just trying not to emulate Hitler in any way whatsoever, including not providing jobs for any of his people.

This is still acceptable?
Oh No, Obama: The Jobless Recovery Cometh
3:33 pm, August 13th, 2010 on Democraps, Economy, White House
More bad news for Barack Obama, Democrats and the White House: the jobless recovery is officially here and it does not look good for them.
November is only 90 days away and we might just double dip too.

Jobless Recovery Horror

National Guard NOT Doing What in Arizona??
5:31 pm, August 10th, 2010 on White House, immigration
While I am an unabashed supporter of immigration, amnesty, guest worker programs and the whole shebang, I do not support illegal immigrants breaching our borders as they please. Securing borders, especially one rife with violence and criminal activity as the Mexican one is, is essential for any nation’s security.
We need to reinforce the Border Patrol with additional recruits and the National Guard as necessary to prevent any further. Janet Napolitano and Barack Obama have deployed the National Guard to the Arizona border, but:
The [National Guard] mission sets are criminal analysts and enter-identification teams. … guardsmen will not be doing direct law enforcement on the southwest border.
So, if the National Guardsmen won’t be doing “direct law enforcement,” what the hell will they be doing? Providing refreshments to the illegals, filling out guest books for our “visitors” and tanning in the Arizona sun?
Obama Lied; Crabs Cried
5:21 pm, August 10th, 2010 on Politics, White House

Blue Crabs (S)Oiled, courtesy, AP
Even while the White House has been trumpeting false reports that 75% of the oil has dissipated from the Gulf of Mexico – miraculously so, only because Barack Hussein Obama willed it to – scientists are finding more and more signs that the oil has, in fact, not disappeared.
In the latest reports, oil specks are now being found in Blue Crab larvae, which implies that the oil has entered the aquatic food chain:
It would suggest the oil has reached a position where it can start moving up the food chain instead of just hanging in the water … Something likely will eat those oiled larvae … and then that animal will be eaten by something bigger and so on.
Despite Obama’s awesomeness, the scientists say:
In my 42 years of studying crabs I’ve never seen this
Obama lied, crabs cried (and fishes died too).

Christina Romer While Packing Her Bags: No Double Dip Recession
10:17 am, August 6th, 2010 on Economy, White House

Stop Bugging Me About the Economy
After the U.S. lost 131,000 jobs in July mostly due to nearly a quarter million employment loss related to the Census, Obama’s economic adviser Christina Romer opined:
I am not worried about a double dip
Romer is packing her bags and deserting the sinking M.V. Obama. Her comments really do ought to inspire confidence in all of us.
Tony Hayward Booted; Obama Waiting for 2013
12:22 pm, July 26th, 2010 on White House

Tony Hayward - Just Another White House Scapegoat
In the continuing saga of White House interference with the governance of private companies, Tony Hayward of BP has been booted as the CEO, not without intense pressure from King Obama himself.
Despite his gaffes and personal faults, Hayward could not be personally held responsible for mistakes committed by Halliburton, the installer of the faulty spill prevention device, Transocean, the operator and owner of the rig, and the entire BP safety team.
When do we get to boot Obama from office? January 2013 is when I will celebrate, provided the Mayans don’t kill us before then.
UPDATE: Obama is going to appear on The View. Could someone write his resignation letter for him please?
Obama Did Not Stop Them Carp
10:34 am, July 22nd, 2010 on White House

Obama is the Only Natural Predator
What has Barack Obama been doing since he was elected to office in November 2008?
Why has he not been personally catching or shooting up all those Asian carp invading our territorial waters? I am really disappointed in him.
Mike Cox, S(tupid)-Michigan, feels:
“President Obama and the Army Corps of Engineers have failed to fight Asian carp aggressively … Asian carp will kill jobs and ruin our way of life.”
First it was those Chinese railroad workers, then it was Mexican illegals, then it was those Arab terrorists, and, now, Asian carp.
Why has Obama done nothing to prevent any of these scum from invading our territory?
What’s Really Bad About the Bill
12:18 pm, March 22nd, 2010 on Democraps, Health, Politics, White House
The summary of the health care bill is as follows:
Cost: $940bn over 10 years; would reduce deficit by $143bn
Coverage: Expanded to 32m currently uninsured Americans
Medicare: Prescription drug coverage gap closed; affected over-65s receive rebate and discount on brand name drugs
Medicaid: Expanded to include families under 65 with gross income of up to 133% of federal poverty level and childless adults
Insurance reforms: Insurers can no longer deny coverage to those with pre-existing conditions
Insurance exchanges: Uninsured and self-employed able to purchase insurance through state-based exchanges
Subsidies: Low-income individuals and families wanting to purchase own health insurance eligible for subsidies
Individual Mandate: Those not covered by Medicaid or Medicare must be insured or face fine
High-cost insurance: Employers offering workers pricier plans subject to tax on excess premium
The Medicare expansion is good, as is the Medicaid one. Insurance reform is a good idea, as are the insurance exchanges to some extent. Subsidies can be good too. Expanding coverage to another 32 million Americans is an equally noble idea.
Now, the problems, in my opinion, begin with the first point – the enormous costs of the program. $940 billion dollars of money the U.S. government does not have. We are already spending a pretty 1.4 trillion dollars per year on average more than we have. $940 billion will only add to that.
Moreover, government cost estimates almost always prove to be far short of the actual number. Medicare, for instance,:
… in 1966 cost $3 billion. The House Ways and Means Committee estimated that Medicare would cost only about $ 12 billion by 1990 (a figure that included an allowance for inflation). This was a supposedly “conservative” estimate. But in 1990 Medicare actually cost $107 billion.
Medicare, in the most recent budget, costs 489 billion dollars. Medicaid costs another 264 billion dollars.
The Democrats told us in 1966 that Medicare would cost only 10 percent of what it actually did in 1990. They lied. Big time. And, they also had no idea how much it would really cost.

Pants on Fire
Fast forward to today. The Democrats are telling us Obamacare would cost only 940 billion dollars. The real estimate? 9.4 trillion dollars. That’s how much it would probably cost us in reality.
9.4 TRILLION DOLLARS. Who’s going to pay for that? Obama’s daddy?
Problem no. 2 is the mandate. Of course, Obamacare, and any liberal/socialist policy, wouldn’t be effective if people aren’t forced to adhere to it. So, we have fines and canings to force those disobedient little uninsured punks to buy Obamacare.
If I don’t want health care, I will not buy it. I will pay the fine, but I will not buy Obamacare.
The third problem, of course, is the end of comprehensive insurance coverage. Cadillac plans are nothing more than comprehensive health insurance plans provided by large corporations, such as Microsoft, that cover almost everything.
Covering everything from brand-name prescription drugs to physical therapy to preventative care to fitness programs to semi-elective surgeries to major operations, these Cadillac plans save tens of thousands of Americans tens of thousands of dollars each year.
What will happen if the tax goes through is that Microsoft will drastically reduce coverage, bringing everyone down to the Obamacare level. Henceforth, you want that physical therapy? Pay out of your own pocket. That’s what Democrats want – equally crappy coverage for all.
The last problem the summary left out is the increase in taxes. The rich will be taxed even further. Medicare taxes are being increased. Medicare taxes will be imposed on investment income.
Taxes, taxes and more taxes. That’s how Canada’s total tax rate is well over 40%.

Obama = Bush, Says the ACLU
2:25 pm, March 7th, 2010 on White House
Obama’s latest move to try KSM in military tribunals, instead of criminal courts, is infuriating the left to such an extent that the ACLU published the following full-page ad in the NYT.

Obama is slowly coming to the painful realization that a lot of what the Bush administration did in matters of national security (military tribunals, Gitmo, etc.) was due to expediency given the tough circumstances, rather than a hatred for constitutional rights and freedoms. The left can’t help feel betrayed by its poster boy.
Young ‘Uns Still Obsessed with Obama
12:12 pm, March 6th, 2010 on White House
It seems that the 18-29 crowd can’t get over its obsession with Barack Obama. While approval ratings from other age groups are somewhat consistent with previous presidencies, 66% of young ‘uns still like Obama, according to a recent Gallup poll.

They’re still gulping down the Kool-Aid by the gallons. This despite the fact that unemployment and underemployment account for a fifth of the labor force more than a year since BHO took office.
Obama’s Failing Climate Change Movement
10:52 pm, February 19th, 2010 on White House
The Economist’s KAL seldom criticizes liberals. When he does, it’s generally for inaction on any number of his favorite (and invariably, lefty) issues. The latest is climate change.
No wonder Obama’s approval ratings are falling. He isn’t pleasing anyone on his core issues – health care, climate change, ending the wars, Gitmo – and has been relegated to secondary issues, such as gays in the military and banning proprietary trading by banks.

Another Envoy to the Muslim World?!
3:38 pm, February 15th, 2010 on White House
So, we have Farah Pandith as the special U.S. envoy to Muslim communities. We now have another one – Rashad Hussein who has been appointed as the envoy to the Organization of Islamic Conference. Apparently, he will:
…work to strengthen cooperation between the United States and the Organization of the Islamic Conference, the White House said. In addition, he will seek to counter any disparaging images of the United States in the Muslim world, and in particular will look to correct distortions of Americans disseminated by Al Qaeda.
Pandith’s job description:
she will play a leading role in our efforts to engage Muslims around the world
So, basically, each will be stepping on the other’s toes, just as bureaucracy is designed to do.
Reid Wants Recess Appointments
5:01 pm, February 10th, 2010 on Democraps, Politics, White House
When Harry Reid & Co. held up dozens of Bush nominees forcing him to recess appoint several of them, including John Bolton, to the UN, liberals were up in arms about Bush’s 171 extra-Senatorial appointments.
Now, that Obama’s nominees are being held back by Republican “obstructionism,” Reid claims:
I mean it’s disgraceful. The Republicans are holding these people up for reasons that have nothing to do with their background, morality [or] competency of these people. … I think, frankly, the President should recess [appoint] all of them. All of them. He has been given very little recognition for the importance of the job that he has trying to find the best people in America to fill this position. No one can say Democrats did this when we were in the minority — we didn’t do this. There were people that were held up, but this something that is beyond the pale.
On video:
Anything that Bush did was Satan’s work. If Obama does the same, it’s the people’s will. Oh, this is why I love Beltway politics.
Let’s Move … the Obamas Out of the White House
4:50 pm, February 10th, 2010 on Health, White House
Michelle Obama has launched a new initiative, Let’s Move, to combat childhood obesity.
She feels that bringing “grocery stores to low-income neighborhoods” and helping “places like convenience stores carry healthier food options,” in addition to more onerous food labeling requirements will provide parents the information and choices they need to make better decisions for their children.
My thoughts on this matter pertain to 2 points. First, let children be children. Let them have fun. They have their entire lives to get back to size 0.
Second, as one commentor put it:
Bring PE back to the classroom. I think dodge ball and tag were great when I was in elementary school. Keep the crazy lawsuits out of sports programs in and out of schools.
PE should be compulsory for ALL kids, no excuses. In my school, PE was a requirement – you had to pass the class to move on each year until the 10th year. It was easy to pass – just attend the class enough times – but the idea was to instill in them a passion for physical exertion.
Alas, the Obamas and Democrats can’t come up with simple solutions. Everything has to be a grand scheme involving more bureaucracy and red tape and more requirements (or taxes) on businesses.
I can’t wait for 2013.
Obama’s Approval Now Well Under 50%
8:32 pm, February 8th, 2010 on Politics, White House

No More Superman
President Barack Obama’s glorious descent to approval ratings purgatory is well under way. Marist College’s latest non-internet poll shows that only 44% of registered voters now think he’s doing a good job.
Starting from a high of 68% in January ‘08, Obama has lost 24 points in 2 years. If he keeps it up, we could be looking at 20% in 2012, in time for a new President.
Another Birthers Lawsuit Courtesy Orly Taitz
11:03 pm, January 28th, 2010 on White House

Orly Taitz

Orly Owl
Orly Taitz, the Obama Birth Certificate Hunter Extraordinaire, has filed another lawsuit, pro se, on Wednesday demanding a copy of the President’s birth record from the Secretary of State. It is, of course, a different matter that Hilary Clinton herself would have liked Obama to be disqualified way back in 2008.
This is after several of her previous lawsuits, on behalf of various plaintiffs, were thrown out by various courts. It seems like Taitz is truly obsessed by hope of one day seeing Obama’s actually birth certificate.
On a related note, it is interesting to note that several of our elected representatives also believe in the Birthers’ tales, courtesy, Mike Stark…
Get over it already.
Alito Rebuts Obama, Or So They Say, But Rightly So
12:44 pm, January 28th, 2010 on Politics, White House, supreme court
Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito Jr. had his own “you lie” moment last night during Obama’s criticism of the Supreme Court decision on restrictions on corporations during elections…
Alito responded to this section in Obama’s speech:
With all due deference to separation of powers, last week the Supreme Court reversed a century of law that I believe will open the floodgates for special interests –- including foreign corporations –- to spend without limit in our elections. (Applause.) I don’t think American elections should be bankrolled by America’s most powerful interests, or worse, by foreign entities. (Applause.) They should be decided by the American people. And I’d urge Democrats and Republicans to pass a bill that helps to correct some of these problems.
If Obama can be directly disrespectful towards the Supreme Court, with several justices in attendance, with his own uninformed opinions, I don’t see why Alito can’t express his own opinion.
Obama’s Magic Numbers Game
12:48 pm, January 26th, 2010 on Democraps, Economy, White House
President Barack Obama wants to shave $15 billion from next year’s budget and $250 billion over 10 years. Let’s look at that closely.
The 2011 federal budget will be a colossal $2.713 trillion dollars, up from $2.381 trillion in 2010, according to the GPO[PDF].
$15 billion accounts for, let’s see, 0.55% of the entire budget.
Heck the increase in spending from 2010 to 2011 is 13.9%, which would give the inflation a run for its money. For simplicity’s sake, let’s shave off .55% from 13.9% gives us 13.35%. Or, 13% versus 14% increase.
That’s like saying, I want to buy the $2000 TV but I am not going to pay $20 for the HD antenna.

Obama Takes Credit for Jobs Lost: Only 5.2% Actually Unemployed
2:48 pm, November 6th, 2009 on Humor, White House
U.S. President Barack Obama says that the latest unemployment figures show the stimulus is working and Congress is doing the right by focusing on health care reform.
“In the entire month of October, American employers shed merely 190,000 jobs. Looking at the bigger picture of 300 million Americans, that is but a drop in the bucket. Even with 15.7 million unemployed, only 5.2% of Americans are actually out of a job,” said President Obama during his speech in the Rose Garden.
“The stimulus package passed by my Congress earlier this year has saved and is continuing to save hundreds of thousands of jobs. Without those trillion dollars, we would have most likely lost 3 times as many as we did.”
“We were elected to build a future. Speaker Pelosi and Senator Reid are doing the right thing by focusing on providing health care to the millions of Americans without coverage, an issue central to that future of our great country.”
The Labor Department reports that almost 15.7 million Americans were out of work in October. 190,000 jobs were shed last month, down from the 219,000 jobs lost in September. It was the 22nd consecutive month that the economy has lost jobs, the longest slump in the 70 years records have been kept.
Obama Expands Government, Claims Job Saved
7:03 pm, October 30th, 2009 on Economy, White House
The Obama administration is spinning a tale of how 650,000 (!) jobs have been saved or created because of the stimulus spending. More than half of these are in education – government jobs.
The rest are mostly in relatively low-paying construction jobs, not the kind of financial, technological or high-paying jobs that were lost because of the recession.
Biden claims:
There is strong and mounting evidence that the recovery act is putting people back to work
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, non-farm unemployment is at 9.8% as of earlier this month. Where are these jobs going?
White House’s Visitor Logs: False Positives?
6:51 pm, October 30th, 2009 on White House
So, the Anointed One’s administration has released visitor logs for the White House, with such luminaries on the list:
Michael Jordan, William Ayers, Michael Moore, Jeremiah Wright, Robert Kelly (“R. Kelly”) and Malik Shabazz
Many of these names, however, are supposedly “false positives.” Apparently:
A lot of people visit the White House, up to 100,000 each month …. Given this large amount of data, the records we are publishing today include a few “false positives” – names that make you think of a well-known person, but are actually someone else.
So, there’s more than one Malik Shabazz?
…The well-known individuals with those names never actually came to the White House. Nevertheless, we were asked for those names and so we have included records for those individuals who were here and share the same names.
So, firstly, why are they on the visitor list?
Secondly, I have visited the White House and I had to submit all my information before the trip – the Secret Service is actually expected to verify the information you provide and conduct background checks, lest you’re a criminal or a terrorist. So, the White House should be able to tell us if the famous person named here actually visited the White House or not.
Going by this theory, you can release any list you like, and then claim that they are “false positives” on there. That makes the release inconsequential and ludicrous.
Their Problem to Solve?!
3:19 pm, October 27th, 2009 on Asia, White House
Mr. Matthew Hoh, a US diplomat posted in Afghanistan, resigned from his job claiming:
“We want to have some kind of governance there, and we have some obligation for it not to be a bloodbath.
“But you have to draw the line somewhere, and say this is their problem to solve.”
Their problem to solve?!
The United States attacked Afghanistan in a just war to root out the Taliban and Al-Qaeda, who, by the way, had attacked us on our soil. The Afghans hadn’t even attacked us – their government was harboring the people who attacked and wouldn’t give them up.
This problem can never be theirs. This problem was ours and will remain ours.
Now that that job has become tough, Hoh (and the Obama team) wants us to just quit and run away. This would be the second time we have left Afghanistan in tatters.
The last time we just quit Afghanistan after the Soviet withdrawal in the ’80s, Al Qaeda and the Taliban emerged to fill the power void. What will emerge this time?
This whole Hoh resignation bullshit just stinks of political manipulation.
Obama: Cut Your Paychecks.
1:12 pm, October 21st, 2009 on Economy, Liberalism, White House
Obama’s socialism czar, Kenneth Feinberg, has decreed that recipients of federal bailouts must cut the compensation of their top executives.
In the private world, the real world, the capitalist world, people need incentives to perform. Outsized salaries and benefits provide just such incentives. Look at Goldman, JP Morgan and others that have been declaring massive profits over the past few months.
Cutting paychecks will only cause these companies to behave more like government entities than their private competitors. Why would the head of a division work 100 hours a week at this company when he’s getting paid half of what his counterpart gets paid at a different firm? He can switch or stop working as hard…
Why does it feel more and more like the Socialist States of America?

Another of Obama’s Hidden Taxes
10:01 pm, August 13th, 2009 on Economy, Taxes, White House
President Barack Obama wants to raise taxes on us in some way or the other.
His latest proposal to impose new fees on banks and mortgage companies, supposedly to finance more bureaucratic oversight, will surely be passed on to us consumers in the form of new and/or higher fees and charges.
A banking industry lobbyist claims:
We think that it’s outrageous to disproportionately and unevenly impose the cost of new regulation on the top banks… The largest banks … should not be forced by the government to . . . pay the larger share of the funding costs of the [consumer financial protection agency] and regulatory oversight.
It’s not as if the banks will absorb even a single dollar of Obama’s new fees. As it is banks are increasing their fees on us consumers. With more federal charges, they will have now a valid excuse to jack ‘em up further. Of course, corporate clients will see some charges increased, but the bulk of the money will come from us, as has always happened.
We already have the FDIC, FEC, SEC, Treasury Dept. and dozens of other government agencies who provide some sort of regulatory control over the banking industry. A cheaper proposal to increase oversight, if you were so inclined, would be to expand the responsibility of one of these agencies, cut costs and streamline the whole process.
Another bureaucratic federal agency solves nothing. It just adds another tax on our plate.

The Problem With the Obama/Gates Affair
11:02 am, July 27th, 2009 on Politics, Race, White House
Stanley Fish, for the NYT, is taking the whole racism matter to a completely new level:
What was a black man doing living in a place like this?
and:
It isn’t the legitimacy of Obama’s birth certificate that’s the problem for the birthers. The problem is again the legitimacy of a black man living in a big house, especially when it’s the White House.
and:
Gates and Obama are not only friends; they are in the same position, suspected of occupying a majestic residence under false pretenses. And Obama is a double offender. Not only is he guilty of being Housed While Black; he is the first in American history guilty of being P.W.B., President While Black.
Really, the biggest problem with an African-American president or any African American in a position of power, is that liberals will constantly allude to his race and to situations involving similar blacks in problematic situations and claim that it was all because of the race, regardless of the circumstances. Did I Miss the Obama-Gates Brouhaha?!
12:55 pm, July 24th, 2009 on Liberalism, White House
I have been busy over the past week, which should explain the paucity of posts, but I am dismayed I didn’t read or blog about the Obama/Gates affair until now.
So, an African-American professor gets arrested for a minor issue and the President of the United States makes a phone call about it?!
Gates may be a respected Harvard professor but no one has the right to say this to an officer of the law:
Ya, I’ll speak with your mama outside
Of course, a Harvard professor has a constitutional right (Gates Amendment, forthcoming) to scream at and abuse a police officer. The police officer was wrong the minute he even responded to the breaking and entering call – he should be suspended and exiled to Kiribati.
Is that what we’ve come down to? Is this what engages President Barack Obama all day long? Did we elect him to scold allegedly “racist” police officers and bail out nasty liberal professors?
With over 10% unemployment, half a million people losing their jobs every single month, trillions in tax dollars spent away without any results, states running out of UI money, Obama still has the time to call a police sergeant when his friend gets arrested?
I am thinking of switching sides and befriending Obama. That’d be like a “Get Out of Jail Free” card. And, he’s always available to make the call too. Day or night. Sweet.
