Stupid Fucker
The Supreme Court of Minnesota has just opted for Democrat Al Franken over Republican (and former Democrat) Norm Coleman.
Al Franken, that guy from the land of far-far-far-left away. Al Franken, that stupid radio show host who moved “back” to Minnesota only in ‘03 for the express purpose of running for office. Having Al Franken in the Senate is far worse than a combination of Limbaugh, Coulter and Malkin in there.
What are his qualifications for becoming a Senator? Especially when the alternative is the incumbent Norm Coleman, a several-term former Mayor of Minneapolis?
How did people of MN even vote for this dude? Does 40% of MN consist of mindless zombies? Another 20% (mostly zombies, I would say) voted for a third party joker, Dean Barkley, who is even less qualified. Barkley hasn’t done anything since chairing Ventura’s campaign for gov in ‘98.
And, what else would you expect from a bunch of liberal, elected, activist judges from that deep blue state? Obama had won it by 10 points. Republicans haven’t carried it since 1972. Even in the landslide years of ‘80, ‘84 and ‘88, MN went for the Donkeys.
It was only expected, but the amazing part, however, is that decision was issued without a single dissent. Liberals can’t even think independently.
The worst part about this whole affair is that this is the final nail in the coffin for Republicans at the federal level. With a majority in the House and filibuster-proof 60 votes in the Senate, Democrats can ram through any legislation they wish.
They can mandate gay marriage without a care in the world. The Donkeys can outlaw guns (to the extent allowable) and get away with it. Assault weapons are a gonner. Semi-autos are on the way out. Ammo will be taxed. Better stock up.
Dems can ban full-size trucks and sedans and not give a two penny fuck. They can raise all the taxes they want and we won’t be able to do shit about it. Gas taxes are going up, up and up.
The only consolation is that this unbridled power in the hands of one party will inevitably lead to abuse. Hopefully the Elephants can capitalize on this expected crisis and win back seats in ‘10.
