Doesn't Need or Want Obama
Obama mama’s latest “change” includes a bill that mandates:
- cut emissions by 17% below the level in 2005 by 2020, then by 83% by 2050
- national limits and requires polluters to acquire emissions permits
- Permits are either free (85%) or bought at auction (15%)
- Permits can be traded, allowing major polluters to offset surplus emissions
At what cost?! Millions of jobs lost? Implicit and explicit taxes raised on every American? Loss of American competitiveness?
Will the Senate please save us from this absolute abomination?
Republicans in the Senate – you’d better filibuster this bitch to purgatory. McCain, Collins, Snowe – this may be your last chance to show us you really are Republicans.
