Obama: I am Watching (and Learning from) Iran

The news according to media reports, and the translation into what Obama really means:

US President Barack Obama has warned Iran that “the world is watching.”

Obama: “I am watching and learning how to violently suppress dissent when I institute radical changes in the USA.”

[He] said that the way the authorities dealt with people who were “trying to be heard” would send a message to the international community.

Obama: “Your system needs improvement. I can do better. Yes, I can!”

“I’m very concerned based on some of the tenor and tone of the statements that have been made… “

Obama: “I don’t like the way your opposition leaders have behaved.”

“that the government of Iran recognise that the world is watching.”

Obama: “You need to set the right example. World leaders have looked to you for instruction on repression and discrimination. You need to do better.”

“And how they approach and deal with people who are, through peaceful means, trying to be heard will, I think, send a pretty clear signal to the international community about what Iran is and is not.”

Obama: “Yes, those Republicans will be a pain in the ass when I create the Communist States of America. We will have to deal with them appropriately.”

… the protests were “extraordinary” and “courageous”.

Obama: “How long do these protestors continue with their crap?”
