Ousted President of Honduras, Manual Zelaya is planning a counter-coup to re-assume power in that Central American nation.

Zelaya has been holding detailed talks in San Jose, Costa Rica, with Honduran military leaders opposed to the interim government, in addition to representatives from the Organization of American States (OAS) and regional governments. Also present at the negotiations were the Venezuelan Ambassadors to Costa Rica and Honduras and the American Ambassadors to Costa Rica and Honduras.

He has addressed the General Assembly in New York on Tuesday and was scheduled  to meet senior representatives of the Obama Administration in Washington, DC, later in the day. On Sunday, Zelaya met regional leaders in Managua, Nicaragua.
